How To Get Started with your customized website ?
JTZ Enterprise prides itself on client service and unique website designs. When you are ready for us to help you and your business with your Internet presence contact us by phone or e-mail to discuss available options. We deal with every client on a one on one basis and will personally visit those clients within Virginia and neighboring states.

Every website must have a purpose. Our first goal is to define that purpose and to learn from you, the client, what you want to get out of a website. For some the website might be a way to seek new clients while for others it might be used to better communicate with existing clients and many sites are intended to do a little of both. We will work with you to determine the best ways for your website to work for you. For us to get started with the website design we then play the game, 20 Questions. Actually it is a few more than that but we have a list of answers we get from you to determine the look and style and page list that will be the makeup of your domain. It is at this time that we get all necessary photos of the business and staff, examples of other forms of advertising you are utilizing, copies of business cards, letterheads, company logos, slogans and any other items that define your business image. We do not want to recreate your image, we want to duplicate the one you already have and put it on the web. If you are a brand new business we can help define your image but chances are you have already gone a long way towards that by the time you hang up a road sign and open the doors for business.

We then deliver all those answers and materials to our team of designers and the creation phase begins. To get started we have an annual agreement that spells out what you should expect from us including hosting, domain registration, design, search engine optimization and registration, e-mail boxes, and cost. We will register your domain name if you have not already done so and we will arrange transfer of your domain to our servers if you have an existing domain. We typically receive a deposit for the first year’s agreement and the balance is not due until you can say, “This is exactly what I was looking for in a website!” Once we get a new project in front of one of our designers we typically have a home page for you to review in less than a week. When the first page is complete we come to you for approval. You have complete control over the direction our designers move when creating your site. Most clients are blown away by what they see from the beginning but our designers do have thick skin. If you see something that needs to be changed or re-worked, we get those suggestions from you and go back to the designer to work towards obtaining the Internet image you want for your business. Once you approve the Home page we move on to the other pages of the site asking for your approval and input every step of the way. It typically takes us 2-3 weeks to complete the design phase of a website. We have heard others can do it in much less time but we are proud of the fact that no two of our websites are alike. We do not ‘cookie cut’ websites nor do we use templates. No two businesses look alike so why should their websites?

Once the design of the website is complete we will again visit or contact the business to provide training on how to edit inventory, retrieve orders or applications, receive payments, set up e-mail boxes and give instructions on the seven counters available to our clients. We offer the client full service and support from beginning to end and all through out the annual agreement term.
When the site is completely up and running we then send an invoice for the balance. Once that is received we then begin the final stage of development, search engine optimization and website optimization. This is often the most overlooked step for many site owners and can greatly reduce the number of visitors that make it to your website. Our competition either does not know how to perform this step or charges extra for it. We recognize this as the most important part of creating a website and provide it for all our clients. We imbed into every page of your site those keywords and phrases most used by your clients to find your site when looking for you, your product, or your services at a search engine such as Google, Yahoo and many, many more. Once the optimization is performed we then contact all of the top search engines and many of the others and register your site. This way the next time one of your clients is searching for you or your business these search engines will know to provide a link back to your site thereby driving relevant traffic to your website.

Even after all these steps are complete, JTZ Enterprise is still working for you! When you have updates to make to your site such as a change in hours, staff, color schemes, etc. we handle those requests for you free of charge. We do not have any additional or hidden fees or charges for updates you request unless you are adding functionality to the site (i.e. adding a shopping cart or secure page, for example). Your business changes often and it is our responsibility to keep your website up to date with your business.
